Waterproof Socks Care & Usage Guide

To extend the life of your waterproof socks and maintain their optimal waterproof performance and comfort, please follow these guidelines:

Usage Guidelines

  • Avoid sharp or rough surfaces: Keep your socks away from knives, wires, branches, rocks, or any abrasive objects to prevent puncturing the waterproof membrane.
  • Do not walk barefoot on rough ground: Surfaces like gravel, concrete, or wood chips can wear down the fabric. It’s best to wear your waterproof socks inside shoes.
  • Keep away from heat and open flames: The waterproof membrane is sensitive to high temperatures. Avoid exposing your socks to fire, ovens, radiators, or tumble dryers.
  • Ensure proper shoe fit: Shoes that are too tight may compress or damage the socks, affecting comfort and waterproof performance.
  • Consider wearing a base layer sock: Pairing your waterproof socks with a comfortable liner, such as wool or moisture-wicking socks, can improve warmth and moisture management—especially useful for cold weather or long outdoor activities.

Storage & Maintenance

  • Keep dry and ventilated: After wearing, allow your socks to air dry in a shaded, well-ventilated area to keep them dry.
  • Store in a dry environment: When not in use for long periods, keep your socks away from direct sunlight and moisture.
  • Regularly inspect your socks: If you notice wear or damage, replace them promptly to ensure continued waterproofing and comfort.
